I've always loved that old Life magazine with Adam West as Batman gallavanting on the cover, so I decided to re-create it as a true-to-color single panel print, and as a super-colorful 4-panel print. Buy one today here!

Skirting The Copyrights....
Fineskellington posted these great images of Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back "Peter Pan" book and record sets. Don't quite know why they were allowed to use the name, characters, and music from the films and not the images, but the copyright gods can be fickle. Not that I would know anything about that.
My Angry Tirade For The Day...
Well, today is our closing day for our new house! Well, actually, today was SUPPOSED to be the day, but apparently either the underwriter or Maine State Housing is dragging their a$$, and we won't be closing today!!! Which is especially awesome, because this is the SECOND time we've had our closing date moved; the first being Nov. 13!!!! I am sooo sick of the delays and the "oh, we're actually going to need another $700 for whatever reason at the last minute". Also, I really wanted to get our tree and decorate for Christmas this weekend! AARGHH!!! Plus, we are getting really low on heating oil, and I'll be damned if I have to order any more this late in the game! OK, I'm done with my angry rant for the day... talk amongst yourselves.
New Wall Art
My wife and I have been glued to the laptop all weekend looking for art for our new house. I have seen so much gorgeous art that it is incredibly overwhelming! Pictured above is what we've ordered so far, except for the Shepard Fairey and Superman vs Ali - that's what I want to order next.

10 Best Post-Apocalyptic Vehicles
Jalopnik has posted a great list of what you should be driving after the end of the world. The list is pretty well done, but I would have liked to have seen the modified mall shuttle complete with "chainsaw slits" on the sides from 2004's "Dawn of The Dead". I picked my favorites above - you'll recognize the first one from the comedy classic; "Stripes". Via Neatorama

One Door Closes, Another Opens...
Well, my deal to purchase a comic rack from my neighborhood general store has fallen through, so now I am in negotiations to procure an old "spinner rack" from my favorite antique store; "The Undercover Antique Mall". As this will be the focal point of my new home office, I WILL have one! I'm also gonna stock it with only titles from 1976 - the year I began collecting at the wee age of four. I know, I'm an Uber-geek. I'm not ashamed.
New Ironman 2 Photo!
This cover of Empire Magazine couldn't be more epic - I am sooo excited to see this! Via SuperHeroHype.
Road Warrior Weekend!
LA Weekly reported on a one-time only, Mad Max; Road Warrior Weekend in the So Cal high desert that featured camping, cosplay, Thunderdome battles, Interceptor races, a real Gyrocopter and more. And the chicks, man, THE CHICKS!!! Via Boing-Boing
This is Too Weird!
Okay, I'm playing on the internets this morning, and I say to myself; "Hey - I wonder if my new Mechagodzilla art print will show up on a google image search". It didn't, but I found the two paintings shown above, and I SWEAR that I didn't copy either! I think they even used the same source photo that I used. Crazy, huh?
